What boggles my mind is you questioning calling the A/10 off and yet beating yourself up because you didn't raise J/10 suited.

boggles...

Heck yeah. The jt suited hand was on a board that was incredibly good for me draw wise. I was four to the flush and had two overs which meant that I had two shots at 15 outs. The AT board was not coordinated for me at all (although likely for noone else either except like jt ironically) putting me down to 6 outs, of which I felt three of them were dead (my ace was outkicked). Why does this boggle the mind?

Because I was talking preflop.

You didn't agonize as much about calling the J/10 suited as you did the A/10off

Oh yeah,

That's eays. What do you expect with A/10 unsuited. You either want to win when the board misses everyone with your ace high, or you want the board to hit your ace and the kicker to be high enough to take down the pot. At low limits, thats unlikely, because too many people are in the pot.

J10 suited however, plays fantastic in a multiway pot, giving you best odds for a flush a straight, and its often a "hidden" hand, in that people don't expect you to have it. Even better, often your straight posibilites include a king and/or queen, meaning that someone hits and over pair to your straight and will keep betting for you.

THAT's why I like j/10suited over a/10 unsuited in that position.
